The EL-WiFi-TP sensor measures the temperature of the environment in which it is situated. This sensor is accurate to ±1.0˚C. Data is streamed wirelessly over any WiFi network and can be viewed on a PC using our free software package or on the EL-WiFi-Cloud*. During configuration, the sensor will search for an existing wireless network whilst physically connected to the PC. It can then be placed anywhere within range of the network. If the sensor temporarily loses connectivity with the network, it will log readings until it is able to communicate again with the PC application or cloud service (max 120 days at 10 second sample interval). Although the EL-WiFi sensors have an impressive range this can be increased by using WiFi extenders.

HOW IS DATA TRANSFERRED TO THE PC?
The data is streamed directly from the WiFi sensor to the network router which then forwards the data onto the PC, any data coming from the PC to the sensors also goes via the router.

The FilesThruTheAir™ Cloud takes our WiFi sensors to a new level, unshackling them from the PC and allowing them to be managed and monitored over the internet from any location in the world. Users can interact with their sensors via a web based interface which allows them to monitor multiple WiFi sensors in any number of locations. This gives the user the power to potentially monitor hundreds of sensors in different countries from one location. Not only does it provide the ability to manage and monitor the sensors, but users can also access ‘Event Logs’ which will give a record of any past triggered alarm events and have the ability to graph their sensor data online. Users also have the ability to set up email alerts which will notify them when an Alarm Event occurs.
